Farming and the Environment go Hand in Hand
We like to look after the environment in everything we do.
Newton Farms has been involved in agricultural environmental schemes since their creation. Currently we are mid way though a Higher Level Tier Stewardship Agreement. This involves having over 125 acres of land and features established for the local wildlife. We grow wild bird mixes to ensure that the local and migrating birds have a home upon our farm, we also supplementary feed song birds during the winter, we also grow pollen and nectar mixes to insure insects thrive on our farms.
